A Walk in the Clouds and Terraces.

My journey in Sagada began with the breathtaking Banaue Rice Terraces, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases the ingenuity of the Ifugao people. As I wandered through the lush green fields, I marveled at the intricate layers of rice paddies that have been cultivated for centuries. The vibrant landscape was not only a feast for the eyes but also a reminder of the rich cultural heritage that thrives in this part of the Philippines. After soaking in the beauty of the terraces, I indulged in local flavors at charming restaurants, sipping on freshly brewed Sagada coffee and savoring delicious regional dishes.

As the day unfolded, I ventured into the mystical Sumaguing Cave, where an exhilarating mix of hiking and climbing awaited me. The cool, damp air and the soft sounds of dripping water created an enchanting atmosphere, making every step through the vast chambers feel magical. I reflected on my experiences, grateful for the beauty surrounding me. From the echoes in Echo Valley to the stunning Hanging Coffins, Sagada left an indelible mark on my heart, reminding me that adventure and tranquility often walk hand in hand.
