After a 12-hour rough bus ride from Manila, I finally arrived, eager to explore this active stratovolcano located in the province of Albay in Bicol, Philippines. Celebrated for its "perfect cone" shape, Mayon is not just a stunning natural landmark; it also holds a sacred place in Philippine mythology. With my Nikon DSLR camera set to manual, I was ready to capture every angle of this iconic volcano.

As luck would have it, the clouds parted just in time, revealing the majestic peak in all its glory. Standing there, I felt a rush of excitement as I framed the volcano against the backdrop of a vibrant landscape. The experience was truly unforgettable.
