After an 8-hour sleeper bus ride from Manila, my mother and I arrived in the enchanting town of Vigan, Ilocos Sur. As we strolled down Calle Crisologo, I felt like I had stepped back in time, surrounded by charming cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, and rustic mansions that seemed to whisper stories of old.

Exploring the vibrant town with my mom made the experience even more special. We marveled at the stunning Vigan Cathedral and enjoyed the captivating fountain light shows at Plaza Salcedo. The bustling atmosphere of Plaza Burgos, filled with street-food stalls, tempted us with local delights like mouthwatering bagnet, empanada, and longganisang Iloko. Each moment was an opportunity to snap a photo, blending history, flavor, and fun into our adventure.
