Vigan
VIva Iloco
After an 8-hour sleeper bus ride from Manila, my mother and I arrived in the enchanting town of Vigan, Ilocos Sur. With my Nikon DSLR camera in hand and set to manual mode, I was ready to capture the beauty of this historic gem. Known for its well-preserved Spanish colonial and Asian architecture, Vigan is a feast for the eyes and the soul. As we strolled down Calle Crisologo, I felt like I had stepped back in time, surrounded by charming cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, and rustic mansions that seemed to whisper stories of old.
Exploring the vibrant town with my mom made the experience even more special. We marveled at the stunning Vigan Cathedral and enjoyed the captivating fountain light shows at Plaza Salcedo. The bustling atmosphere of Plaza Burgos, filled with street-food stalls, tempted us with local delights like mouthwatering bagnet, empanada, and longganisang Iloko. Each moment was an opportunity to snap a photo, blending history, flavor, and fun into our adventure. Join us as we wander through this beautiful Spanish town, capturing the essence of Vigan through our lens and sharing the stories that unfold along the way!
