I've had the incredible opportunity to explore Bohol Island not once, but twice—each visit a decade apart, yet both filled with unforgettable experiences. Renting a moped from my friendly AirBnB host was the perfect way to dive into the island's beauty. During my first day, I soaked up the sun at Panglao Beach, relishing the soft sand and crystal-clear waters until late afternoon. Dinner by the beach was a delightful way to end the day, with the sound of waves in the background.

The highlight of both trips was undoubtedly the iconic Chocolate Hills. Standing amidst those perfectly sculpted hills, I marveled at nature’s artistry, shaped over millions of years. After soaking in those surreal views, I enjoyed a river tour along the Loboc River, complete with a buffet feast onboard and live entertainment. From the stunning beaches to the breathtaking hills and lush rivers, Bohol has always left a lasting impression on me, making each visit an adventure to remember.
